1.Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us directly
- Name, phone number, email address, and pickup/delivery address when you request a free estimate, book a repair, or contact us.
- Device details such as brand, model, serial number, and a description of the fault.
- Billing details and payment information when you pay for a repair or purchase a refurbished device (we do not store full card numbers — payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways).
- Any information you choose to share via phone, WhatsApp, email, or our website forms.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited on our website, collected through standard server logs and cookies.
- Analytics data (e.g. via Google Analytics or similar tools) used to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
1.3 Information related to your device during repair
When you hand over a device for diagnosis or repair, our technicians may need to power it on, run diagnostic software, or briefly access the operating system to confirm the fault and test the fix. We do not browse, copy, transmit, or share any personal files, photos, passwords, or accounts stored on your device, and we never access your data without your explicit consent for that specific job.
2.How We Use Your Information
- To provide free estimates, schedule pickups and deliveries, and carry out the repair, upgrade, or sale you requested.
- To communicate with you about your booking, repair status, written estimate, invoice, and warranty.
- To process payments and issue invoices/receipts.
- To respond to queries sent via phone, WhatsApp, email, or our contact form.
- To improve our website, services, and customer experience.
- To send you service reminders, offers, or updates — only if you have not opted out (see Section 7).
- To comply with applicable Indian laws, tax requirements, and law-enforcement requests.
3.Our Data Privacy Guarantee for Devices in Repair
We understand that a laptop or phone often holds far more than just hardware — it holds your personal and professional life. As part of our written data-privacy commitment:
- Our technicians work strictly within the scope of the reported fault and do not open personal folders, browsers, messaging apps, or files unless it is unavoidable for diagnosis and you have agreed to it.
- For doorstep visits, repairs are carried out under your supervision wherever practical.
- We recommend you back up your data and remove or temporarily disable account locks (e.g. BIOS/firmware passwords, Find My Device/Find My Mac, screen locks) before handover, as some repairs (motherboard, chip-level, water-damage recovery) may require a factory reset or can result in data loss that is outside our control.
- We are not liable for loss of data, software, or stored content; our guarantee covers the confidentiality and non-misuse of any data we may incidentally access — not its preservation, which remains the customer’s responsibility.
4.Cookies & Website Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure site traffic, and improve performance. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some parts of the website function (e.g. the free-estimate form).
5.Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information with:
- Our technicians and pickup/delivery staff, solely to carry out your booking.
- Payment gateway providers, to process payments securely.
- Authorised spare-parts suppliers, only where required to fulfil a warranty claim or part replacement.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities, where required by Indian law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
6.Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including restricted access to customer records and secure storage of invoices and booking data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take data protection seriously at every step of your service.
7.Your Choices & Rights
- Access & correction — you may ask us to share or correct the personal information we hold about you.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligation to retain invoices/records for tax purposes.
- Opt-out — you may opt out of promotional calls, SMS, WhatsApp, or email at any time by telling us directly.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
8.Data Retention
We retain booking, invoice, and warranty records for as long as needed to provide our services, honour warranty claims, and meet accounting/legal requirements under Indian law, after which the information is securely deleted or anonymised.
9.Children’s Privacy
Our services and website are intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
10.Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites (e.g. Google Maps, WhatsApp, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
11.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
