1.Our Services
LaptopRepairWorks provides repair, diagnostic, upgrade, and maintenance services for laptops, MacBooks, mobile phones, tablets, desktops, monitors, and printers, along with the sale of certified pre-owned/refurbished laptops and printer consumables. Services are available via walk-in at our workshop or doorstep pickup & delivery within our serviceable areas of Hyderabad.
2.Booking, Estimates & Diagnosis
- You may book a free estimate via our website form, phone, or WhatsApp. We aim to respond within 5–30 minutes during business hours.
- Any estimate given before physical inspection is approximate. A written estimate confirming the final diagnosis, parts required, and cost will always be shared before repair work begins.
- Repair work starts only after you approve the written estimate.
3.No Fix, No Fee Policy
If our technicians are unable to repair your device after diagnosis, you will not be charged for the diagnosis, pickup, or delivery. This guarantee applies to standard hardware repair attempts and does not apply where: (a) you decline to proceed with a quoted repair after a successful diagnosis, (b) the device is repaired successfully but you are dissatisfied with cosmetic outcomes outside the agreed scope, or (c) the device was assessed as a refurbished/resale purchase rather than a repair job.
4.Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and may vary based on brand, model, and the extent of damage.
- Payment is due upon completion of the repair and before the device is handed back/delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, UPI, card, and other digital payment methods made available at the time of service.
- The exact spare part fitted is listed on your invoice; pricing for genuine OEM-grade parts is confirmed in the written estimate before work starts.
5.Turnaround Time
Most standard repairs (screen, battery, keyboard, RAM/SSD upgrades) are completed within 2–4 hours. Complex repairs such as chip-level motherboard work, logic board repair, or water-damage recovery may take 24–48 hours or longer depending on parts availability. Timelines are estimates and may vary due to part sourcing, courier delays, or the complexity discovered during repair; we will keep you informed of any change.
6.Warranty
We provide a 90-day written warranty on hardware repairs, covering the specific part replaced and the labour performed for that repair, starting from the date of delivery/invoice. If the same fault recurs within this period, we will repair it free of charge.
Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage, liquid/water damage, or accidental damage occurring after the device is returned to you.
- Faults unrelated to the original repair (a new, separate issue).
- Software issues, viruses, operating-system corruption, or data loss not caused by our repair.
- Devices opened, modified, or repaired by a third party after our service.
- Normal wear and tear, or pre-existing conditions disclosed at the time of the original estimate.
7.Genuine Parts
We use OEM-grade genuine parts for all repairs. For Apple devices, we use genuine Apple components where available; for other brands, we use OEM-grade equivalents that meet original specifications. The exact part used is disclosed on your invoice before work begins.
8.Customer Responsibilities
- Please back up your important data before handing over your device, and remove or share any necessary screen locks, BIOS passwords, or account locks (e.g. Find My Device/Find My Mac) needed to carry out diagnosis and repair.
- Provide accurate contact and address details for pickup/delivery scheduling.
- Inform us of any known prior repairs, modifications, or existing damage to your device at the time of booking.
9.Data & Privacy
Our handling of any personal data or device access during the repair process is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not access personal files without your consent, but we are not responsible for data loss resulting from repairs that require resets (e.g. motherboard or chip-level work) — please ensure your data is backed up beforehand.
10.Pickup & Delivery
Free doorstep pickup and delivery is available within our serviceable areas of Hyderabad. While we take reasonable care during transit, devices are handled by our verified staff under standard care protocols; any pre-existing damage will be noted jointly with you at the time of pickup.
11.Uncollected Devices
If a repaired or diagnosed device is not collected within 30 days of our notification that it is ready, we will attempt to contact you using the details provided. If we are unable to reach you or the device remains uncollected for 90 days, we reserve the right to charge reasonable storage fees or, after written notice, dispose of or recycle the device to recover costs, in accordance with applicable law.
12.Sale of Refurbished Devices & Accessories
Refurbished laptops, accessories, and printer consumables sold by us are covered by the warranty terms stated on the relevant invoice and are subject to our Refund & Return Policy.
13.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data, business, or income, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Indian law.
14.Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on laptoprepairworks.com, including text, images, and logos, is owned by or licensed to LaptopRepairWorks and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
15.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
16.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
